Misozi – Hope is the Visionary Founder and Managing Partner of the firm. She has over 12 years of experience in legal practice, with particular expertise in both commercial litigation and commercial transactions. She has successfully represented clients in celebrated cases involving employment and labor disputes, the dissolution of Islamic marriages, and creditors’ schemes of arrangement. Misozi is also highly regarded as an expert and trusted advisor to multinational corporations in employment law disputes. She is ranked and recognized as an expert in commercial litigation by the Global Law Experts.

In terms of transactional lawyering, Misozi has extensively advised various leading commodity trading companies on acquisitions in the wholesale and FMCGs industry. She has also previously advised on acquisition financing in the banking sector. Additionally, Misozi has extensively advised private companies and high-net-worth individuals on the establishment and operation of trusts.

She is a Beit Scholar, holding a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Trade and Commercial Law from the University of Durham in England and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Zambia. She is currently serving as a non-executive director on the boards of various institutions. She is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK (MCIArb), Zambia branch, and the International Trademarks Association (INTA). Misozi has also written widely on employment and labor law.
